Tight Ends Coach

Bob Smith is the Tight Ends Coach. Bob started his coaching career at Marietta College where he coached the 1970 freshmen team. The following year he was hired at Franklin High School where he was an assistant coach for 9 years (1971-1979) and served as the head coach for two years (1980-1981). He left Franklin in 1984 to go to Milford and served as an assistant coach until 1998 when he was named head coach of the Eagles (1998 -2002). Coach Smith has coached football, wrestling, and track in his thirty six year teaching career.

Bob graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1966 where he made All-Greater Cleveland Conference in football. At Marietta Bob was a two time All Ohio Athletic Conference player (1968-1969) and was a captain his senior year (1969).

Presently, Bob teaches biology at Milford High School. Bob and wife Kathy are proud of Kathy’s children. Jesse Busemeyer (21) is in his senior year at Miami University and Corinne Busemeyer (19) is a sophomre at Purdue University.
